divx help!

    i have downloaded some divx files[ a movie] and a divx player, thing is im new to divx, and i think i have downloaded a old player because i can,t get any sound! anyone help?

    It could be that you do not have the correct codec installed for the audio included with the movie.

    You'll find all you need at www.vcdhelp.com including DiVx cdoecs etc.

    Divix doesnt come with sound u need to d/l a 'third party' codec such as the nismo codec pack

    I think it's nimo actually. Not difficult to find if you search for nimo divx codec pack or similar.

    soo many codecs, now XVid is becoming more popular for ripping DVD's. I recently had to download that codec too.
