I am thinking about getting rid of telewest and going with sky hd, so i have one question..... What will be the cheapest way of getting sky hd? what is the cheapest package that includes hd and is there a way of getting the box half price with free install?

Most of the major high street retailers have had half price deals over the last month, some with restriction (buy a TV over X pounds) others just buy anything.
No idea if these are time limited offers but it may not be a surprise if SKY start offering new deals after xmas especially for new customers.

Cheapest package with some HD is £25 (two mix) plus HD (BBC is FTA, SKy1, NG, Disc, Arts and History) which includes the SKY+ part of the services.
If you want HD movies and/or sports you have to take out the SD version of the respective package which raises the price upto £53.50.
