i have a std grundig box and want to send sky to multiple rooms. I have a TV and seperate FM areial in the loft and this is multiplexed via a single downlead to my living room. What i want is to send the RF2 output to the loft then send it down to kitchen, bebrooms and office. etc .

    question
If i plug my aerial (from wall plate ) into the sky box, then RF2 output out of the living room up the wall into the loft and into the input of a distribution amp and then using the outputs of that to send sky and terstrial down a single coax to each room.

What i also want is to use the magic eye's in each room to be able to change the sky channel in the living room. Can i use a std booster / distribution amp, like the one in argos cat page 713, labgear 4 way £17.25, ive heard some dont pass the IR signals from the magic eyes is this right ?

if thats true is there anyone that can suggest a suitable solution ?

I got one of the 4-way Global TV Link amps which you can see here:

    http://www.stuff4tv.co.uk/Sky Other Accessories.htm

Unlike the SLX amps it can be used with more than 1 "magic eye"

I got caught out with the SLX amps as they can only pass the remote signal to one additional TV but the image signal to multiple TV's

Also, any of the magic eyes for sky digital should work with it regardless of brand.

    owen,

thanks for the promtp reply, looks like i will be going down the same road as you. However, the company that make the magic eye ( global coms) is a 5min drive from me, i think i will call them to see if they sell to jo public, could save some cash if i can cut out the middle man.

    thanks for the prompt reply.
