Display issues on HDTV

Ok so i got my new pc today.

I booted it up normally and said 'mode not supported' on my tv.

I booted it in safe mode and it works fine, i even set the resolution to 1024 in safe mode and it displayed fine, then when i reset to normal boot again it would say 'mode not supported' again.

I'm running vista with dual 8800 gtx cards through dvi-vga.

Any help would be sexy.

There aren't any 720 or 1080 resolutions to choose from.

Just standard moniter ones, i've tried a few now that all work fine in safe mode but not in normal.

Ok problem resolved.

Chris from Element Tech told me to just un-install the nvidia drivers, reboot and it worked fine.

Then just let windows re0install them when it booted back up.
