My local Safeway will be selling this on Friday for £14.99.
That is the cheapest I have seen it anywhere including on the net.

Which region should I go for 1 or 2? I am pretty sure I read on here somehwere that region 2 was better. I am thinking of going into town and getting the deluxe box set from WH Smiths or Woolworths. I know it is cheaper on line but im impatient want to watch it htis weekend :).

Is it worth buying the box set and which shops sell the box set? I might buy it from dvd soon but if there is a hop in town selling it for a reasonable price I might be tempted to buy it today.

I can get the Lion King special edition with beanie toy for £14.99 or order from the net the gift set which could take up to 3 weeks or more from dvd soon for about £22. I dont think the box set is available on region 2.

Got my region 2, 2 disc set yesterday. I haven't been so disappointed in a sound track for a very long time. Tried DD & DTS. (there are actually 2 DTS tracks) Both completely lack the impact of the old pro-logic version on VHS! Mines going straight back. :(
I think this may be worth a thread on it's own.

:lesson: The R1 boxset is quite different fromthe UKR2 boxset:lesson:
The R1 has sketches etc, while the UKR2 is just a kiddies toy thingy. it has miniature lion king statues in there but not the rest afai can tell from the box that I saw in the shops.
