How bloody long is this supposed to take. It says it takes between a few minutes to hours but mines be going for nearly 7hrs. The program is terrible as well. Doesn't give any info about how far it is, what it's moved, how fragmented it is. Nothing!

Might actually have to invest in diskepper.

Actually is there even a version for 64bit vista yet?

Haven't ever defraged it but only had vista installed this time for 1-2months. It's now been running for 19hours! Somehow I think it's not working probably

Sure you haven't got it paused or something? Make sure NOTHING is running in the background as it might auto pause if it detects ANY activity.

Sounds stupid, but your not using the computer while it's defraggin are you? As you might be stopping/starting it without you knowing it.

Vista defrag runs in the background all the time, its constantly checking your drives,

You can continue using your computer. while it defrags in Real Time.

Scheduling a full defrag is hardly necessary, if you do it will have little to do,

Stop thinking like XP, Vista is far superior.
