So after successfully fixing my dishwasher when it broke last time, another fault has developed where the pump is just going all the time and it won't turn off. Had this before, apparently it is the anti flood mechanism. Anyway, followed all the guidelines online about having machine tilted at 45 degrees, but so far hasn't worked on either side, and it's now sitting 45 degrees backwards. I can't try it forward as the hose isn't long enough. Anyway....
So I started looking for new ones. The one I have appears to be an integrated one as when I pull it out there is no lid on top and it sits on runners and behind the kitchen kick plate. It has a normal front though with the controls on and doesn't have a cupboard fascia attached. However, when I look for a replacement, all the integrated ones appear to need a cupboard door attached to the front and the freestanding ones don't sit behind the kick plate.
So what the fudge have I got? Some sort of hybrid?!?
Dishwashers are a minefield. There are bad reviews about almost every single one! Any engineers on here that can recommend a make or model? Assuming I will just have to buy a freestanding one and cut the kick board.
