wondered why its missing from the list of back compatable requestable games.
I'm sure it was in the request/vote list.
Probably witholding it so people have to buy this. Again for me another update of a 360 game thats been available for free and again we are going to be asked to fork out minimum £20 plus for this. When will it end?
Won't end as long as people are prepared to buy them but doesn't hurt anyone so carry on releasing remasters I say.
Available to buy now
Dishonored® Definitive Edition
Half price (£15) if you bought it digitally on 360
It's showing up as £15 for me and I only downloaded it when it was free.
Yup downloading it as part of GwG counts as purchasing it!
That's exactly what I thought.
So essentially, everyone gets it at half price, because potentially everyone with Gold would have downloaded it when it was free.
All the more reason to always "buy" the free games even if you think you have no intention of ever playing them, just in case
Not me, had already sold on my 360 by the time the free games with gold started.
Like @Gooner said, it's always worth queueing them via Xbox.com.
Especially with BC coming.
Didn't even know you could queue them via xbox.com until recently but even if I had with no hint of backwards compatibility for the XB1 there didn't see any point in getting them.
This was released in 2014 on Games with Gold and no sign of BC or a Remastered Edition so was pointless unless you still owned a 360 which most of us do not.
Wasn't BC hinted at late last year?
If it was it certainly wasn't discussed much as the E3 reveal seemed to catch everyone off guard.
E3 was the first mention of it TBH. They had said previously it was never going to happen.
I swear there was an unofficial article saying something along the lines of being able to emulate the 360 on the One, which is what is happening.
I honestly can't remember where the article was, but it was definitely linked here somewhere.
I wouldn't mind this but not for £30
£19.85 at simplygames at the mo (physical)
I take it you missed out on it when it it was free on 360, @Crovon?
I never did play it last time, guess I must have got it on Games with Gold though as it is showing as half price.
Mays well add it to my XB1 collection at that price and not play it on that too.
Just going to wait a little longer to ensure it's not a disaster like Prototype ports.
Better to wait I agree but I'm sure it'll be good, it's a good dev.
Good call @Waynej
I'm tempted to grab it on X1 as well, but I'll hang on and see if anyone says it borked or not.
Bit concerned that there's still no sign of next-gen gameplay or comparisons so close to release. Such behavior by a publisher to not share details before launch is a worrying sign for me - I guess with the US release on Tuesday we will soon find out before UK Friday release at least.
I had hoped we'd know if all is fine by now though, as I'd like to get it downloaded already as to not interrupt my inbound Gears of War multiplayer in coming days.
Yes mate, unfortunately I did. I had a years sabbatical from gaming and have only just got myself an X1 again.
It is a bit concerning.
Hopefully it won't turn out like the [Prototype] bundle.
At least Dishonored actually got an announcement.
I tried a little of it this morning. It is just the PC version at 1080p tbh. A massive improvement over the last gen console ports though and a good investment if you have never played it and could get it at the discount.
I didn't play much of it but it seemed fine to me. No noticeable drops anyway.
