I currently live in Cascais and to get most of the Sky channels I have a 1.4 metre dish. most of the time this is okay but when it rains quite a lot of the channels disappear. Some of the guys I know have dishes of 1.8 metres and above and they get all Sky channels and don't suffer as much in the rain. The channels I can't get are Channel 5, Sky movies 7 & 9, Sky cinema (both) a few music channels and some of the plus channels. This is primarily due to the signals coming from the North and South beams, obviously receiving the South beam better. Any other questions regarding Sky+ don't hesitate to ask?
