If this is naughty I apologise! :) I posted the text below about a week ago in the Remotes forum with no reponses. Looking at the kitlists of the people who regularly post in this forum though I spy many with Prontos / other learning remote controls and I can't believe that none of you will have found and correctly loaded discrete power commands for you iScan?! Please could somebody either explain what I'm doing wrong or provide me with a .ccf or mx-edit file I can incorporate into my own? I have been able to d/l discretes for everything I own except my iScan and an NTL box - one 'toggler' in an "All On" or "All Off" macro is OK but having two is just too dangerous! ;)

Hiya, I emailed DVDO wanting discrete on and off codes for their iScan HD for a Home Theater Master MX-700 (I couldn't find any on Remotecentral) and while their reply was both speedy and comprehensive (probably) it doesn't make much sense to me! So does anyone have a MX-700 file including an iScan or failing that a Pronto CCF inc. it which I can copy using MX-Edit's Universal Browser? Or would somebody clever please explain why copying the following:

    0000
    006c
    001b
    0000
    0064 0064
    0016 0041 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0041 0016 0015 0016 0041
    0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0015 0016 0015
    0016 0041 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0041 0016 0015 0016 0041 0016 0041
    0044 0044 0016 0001

...out of the email I was sent into ProntoEdit's "specify IR" panel doesn't achieve anything - it should turn my iScan off but it doesn't!

Any and all help gratefully received, thanks!

    Many thanks for your time.

Yes, this SW doesn't support discrete IR codes for Power On/Off.
You need to get the x.x-1.20 beta.

Oh blimey is that right? I'll mail DVDO and ask 'em for their beta software then. But I can't believe they didn't tell me that themselves when I asked for the discretes? Thanks Sef.
