    I assume that most people using Prontos and related remotes are farmiliar with the remotecentral forum. I was reading an entry in the remote central forum by a guy called Stephen. He was looking for a list of RC5 code details for the Aconda. He says that he has got in touch with someone at Loewe UK who can get in touch with Loewe Germany to pass on comments about the lack of discrete codes on uk versions of tvs.

    The link is below:
    http://www.remotecentral.com/cgi-bin/mboard/rc-pronto/thread.cgi?17835

    Please help him out if you can. I would love to have dicrete function for my Vitros.

    Sorry if I have caused any inconvenience.

    Also should I post this in the tv section as well?
    Thanks.

    I'd be interested to give those a go - I have a Xelos, so there's no guarantee they'd be compatible, but I'd be interested to see the codes...

    I'll dig them out tonight when I get home and post them. On reflection I can't remember whether I ever found a true discrete ON code. I definitely have a discrete OFF and I think for ON I just used the OK followed by a few seconds pause and another OK which either switches the set on if it was off or leaves it in the same state if it was already on.

    Hopefully the formatting won't get messed up when I post this, but try this for off. As I said works on my Aconda.

    0000 0072 000c 0000 0020 0020 0040 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0040 0020 0020 0040 0020 0020 0040 0020 0020

    Good luck...

    Has anyone had any luck getting these discrete codes for the Q2500 chassis? I'm after Pronto hex codes for On,Off, AV selection and Aspect ratio selection.

    Cheers for any help.

    I've got the 9381 with a 2500 chassis and the above discrete off code works for me.

    As for the AV selection codes I think you'll just have to improvise.

    I use

    OK
    delay
    channel number
    delay
    OK

    From the AV channel selection screen reached by OK you should find that 1-5 select BBC1 etc. but the numbers above 5 will directly select the SCART socket inputs.

    Woo hoo!!
    It has been slow and painfull but i have discovered that there are indeed discrete codes for switching the AV inputs. Currently on my Mimo i have discrete codes for AV2 and AV3. It is currently all i need but i may find the others if i can be bothered.

    The codes i have are "One For All" Key Magic codes but i am sure there is a conversion utility to create Pronto codes from them.

    AV2 = 593
    AV3 = 238

    I also have the discrete power off code which is 718.

    Hope this helps
