    HI,

Well, from my almost non-existant grasp of Spanish, I think this is what he/she is saying:

    Ayúdeme por favor.
    I need a favour please.

Pido recientemente un disco de la región 2 de Inglaterra, sólo para encontrar (a mi repugnancia) que el caso fue cubierto en la escritura inglesa.
I'm looking for an English Region 2 DVD disc... Sorry, don't know the rest.

Nos pienso debo declarar guerra en el inglés hasta que acuerdan poner favorablemente a españoles en la cubierta, no inglés.
Apologies for writing only in Spanish, but I can't speak or read the English language.

Alternatively, this is what the AltaVista Babelfish Spanish-to-English translator came up with!

Ayúdeme please. I recently request a disc of region 2 of England, to only find (to my loathing) that the case was covered in the English writing. I think to us I must declare English war in until they decide to put favorably to Spaniards in the cover, the nonEnglish.

In essence: I recently purchased an English R2 DVD, but to my disgust I found that the cover had only English language text on it. I think it is unfair to Spanish people that R2 DVD covers only come in English, and not other languages.

Well, a lot of bloody good I was! :D Seriousl though, I think that this is either someone taking the mick, or else we're going back to the "I bought X country's DVD's, only to find the cover was in the same language, and not in English." kind-of territory

    Pooch

Surprised this hasn't brough Accursed Delphi out of the woodwork.

BTW, I personal find all these debates on multi-lingual covers somewhat surprising. Canada always has had a particularly vocal, French speaking community, and thus why does it come as such a surprise that covers then respond accordingly.

Seriously, you could see Hindi or Gughurati (apologies if I've misspelt that) featuring on UK packaging in the years to come.

Australia have a huge Vietnamese population but Region 4 discs are in English only.

IMHO I have never found Australia to be the most vocal advocate of a "multicultural" society, if you get my drift.

I am glad that there appears to be one voice of reason here even though it comes from an inhabitant of Xelos (a part of the world that I don't know)

All this fuss about covers in two languages is ridiculous. The French Canadians have had to put up with covers in English for too long and whilst we would rather have DVD covers in the mother tongue only, we are happy to include an English translation in the knowledge that the majority of English are not as good with languages as we are and need as much help as possible.
