disc drawer on 360

this may be a stupid question but in my eagerness last friday to get
my 360 elite up and running i forgot to take the disc drawer sticker

off and tried to open the disc drawer, the drawer didnt open but the

machine tried to , would i have done any damage as the machine works

I doubt it, I forget to open the front of my PC when I eject discs all the time and it has never done it any harm.
