I have a toshiba HDDVD drive in my HTPC.

For some reason when my computer starts up from standby it is not available. It just plain disappears. When I restart however all is fine.

Does anyone have a quick fix for this?

    Thanks inadvance, Brett...o

Maybe a quick fix, maybe will do nothing at all, but have you tried Hibernate instead of standby?
