Disapointing Moving Information



Posting this as the information may be useful to others in the future.

Phoned Sky this morning to arrange moving my service to my new house, this is the full Sky World HD package and Sky broadband. Informed that if they book a moving date (the 18th and they have slots available) then it will automatically cancel my broadband with immediate effect. If I leave booking my move any later I risk not being able to get my Sky install moved on my moving date. As I need broadband for work, I'm now stuck betwen a rock and a hard place. :mad:

Also if you take out Sky broadband you automatically start a new 12 month contract period on braodband AND Sky TV, as you have to have Sky TV to have broadband (obvious really, but sneaky). I wasn't informed of this when I took out Sky Broadband, which is slightly annoying.
