Newbie here, but hope someone can help. :lease:

I have a general query on standby modes in plasma units.

Can the standby mode be disabled?

I want to use one in a retail environment in combination with a MPEG player, but am concerned that should power be cut off from the source (blackout etc), that when power is restored, the screen will automatically go into Standby Mode and require it to be "turned on" again via remote or on the unit - something which can't be done if the plasma is built into a retail display for example.

    Anyone got any ideas?

    Many thanks

    Bump

Haven't found a solution so if anyone has any ideas I'd be most appreciative.

    Thanks
