    Need some more help ...........

I have connected the audio out ports on the TV (PAN TX-32PL30D) to my receiver (DENON 3208), however I still get sound from the TV speakers.

Is it possible to somehow disable the TV speakers and only use external ones - that is appart from simply pressing mute on the TV ?

Why don't you just turn the volume right down?

Thats what I do on my TV. Not sure what other way there is of doing it.

Your right it works - however if you go close to the TV you can still hear the static from the TV speakers.

I guess if there is no solution I will just have to live with it.

    Thanks,

    Ian

If the TV has a headphone socket on it, buy a plug to fit the socket and stick it in. This will probably mute the speakers.

Does the TV have an option to switch the speakers off?? My JVC has it in the Audio menu, you then have to use the volume to raise the output of the analogue outs.
