Directors Cuts

    I have the two disc versions of Evil Dead III and The Wicker Man, both containing the extended Directors cut. Personally, I'm more likely to watch the Directors cut as it's longer, but both Directors cuts are either mono or surround only, the original shorter versions being DD5.1. Am I being daft, or is there some reason why the Directors cut isn't 5.1. The Directors versions are only about 15 minutes longer than the originals so wouldn't have thought it was a lack of disc space.

    Haven't seen Wickerman I am afraid. Maybe they didn't have the budget to do another 5.1 soundtrack?
