dipole rear position?

    Have set of eltax rears (dipole) where the hell do these speakers go on the wall........have read at least 6 mags giving different positions......
    any answers ???

    about 1/2 meter above your head, level with your listening position

    Toby is absolutely right. They have to be in line with your ears and about 2 feet above you.

    I notice on the Eltax website that the rears in the 'Chroma' range are in one place described as Bi-polar , but that it gives 'real Dipole surround sound'.

    If it's di-polar than the siting given above is not only correct but essential. If Bi-polar siting is far less critical, feel free to experiment.
