I've only just got around to watching this 2-disc set, and found four sequences during the film that paused and jumped back.
I know this is a problem disc for many players, but my Sony 7700 has thus far had an exemplary record playing all troublesome DVD's and I was surprised to see this problem.
One particular scene that shows up the fault is Chapter 19, Carnotaurs. A few seconds after the start of this chapter, when the Carnotaurs enter the cave, the picture freezes, jumps, freezes and jumps again and then continues normally.

Has anyone else with a Sony 7700 had problems with this disc, or is my disc just faulty?

I spoke to Play247 today, and this is the same fault that is occuring with other players. Its the first time my Sony 7700 has been tripped up by a disc.
Play have told me to return it for a full refund.

    Norman,

My 7700 plays this perfectly - which multi-region modification do you have?

I've just bought 'Dinosaur' - great film , but check out those grinding halts! I use a samsung 709 (modified) and have so far had no problems but this has to be the worst disc ever - are there any replacements planned?

It's got a Links Electronics Paragon Upgrade in it. The firmware is 9.5 (I know the current version is 9.6).
It's a real downer, becuase until now my players had no problem with any disc, i.e Matrix, T2 Ultimate etc.
I think I'll goto the Links site and ask them.

Links told me that its the disc that ats fault.
I think they are going to re-master it, so we sould be able to re-purchase it in the near future.

    Norman,

I do believe there was a cock up with the disc and you should be able to get your's replaced. My Sony is a Paragon multiregion hack also from Links so maybe it is the disc that's got to go [IMG]
