Got my tracking number via email earlier :)

Only thing is they are delivered to local DPD depot and you have to arrange on how to get it ?

yeah.........basically it sounds like you will have to go and collect it or you will have to pay to get it forwarded to you. I must criticise that since this was not what i was informed. I cant collect because i dont think a depot exists in NI so im forced to pay more. Not pleasing at all.

Is there anyone else in NI knows what they are going to do?

I got a DIGN 4bse today from a different source than the Powerbuy (can't tell you who yet) and it is very good indeed. You will feel the long wait has been worth it once you've got your hands on your case.

Quite a lot of minor niggles (tabs not bent on the 5 1/4 drive bays, slightly difficult screw fitting, I'm missing my IR receiver) but it looks the business.

I'm frantically sourcing bits for my HTPC but will try and post some pics and details as soon as I can.

Regards,
Ian Guinan

From Thomas's email

I would recommend that you get in touch with your local DPD Depot and arrange delivery !!

Bit ambiguous isn't it, its not saying they wont automatically deliver to your door, maybe its more a case of making sure you can be in to receive the parcel? Than again I might be wrong?

I tried to get in touch with them, but the DPD site only gives me a telephone prefix while the parcel line people seem clueless about it all.........rather confused to say the least!

I spoke to Parceline this morning and they said they automatically deliver to door.

Only problem is I wont be in tomorrow :(

Shipped yesterday at 18:00 travelling over land last night/today should be in position to deliver tomorrow, unless you live in N.I !!

Sorry buns :p

This sounds more like it. I was wondering what we had to do.
Just a shame that as my case is about to turn up after all this time I bugger off to France for a week.

Still, I'm sure roaring around a race track on my bike for 4 days will take my mind off the case :)

I reckon its purely that he wanted to unload as much of the greif as posssible and the easiest way to do that was by sorting out the other side of the pond first.;)

i darent like to think of the cost implications if half of his displays are wrong, the grief from the other side would be awful!

I've just checked with Parceline/DPD and it's due to arrive in the UK tonight for delivery tomorrow, that's 1 week to come from Austria!!

I've been one of Thomas supporters thro' this whole process but I feel very let down by the delivery, they've been in Europe for 2 weeks now our US cousins have had theirs for 1 week and if we're lucky ours might turn up tomorrow. Probably dented with broken VFD, power and reset switches
