hi to all,

I recently bought a philips lcd 32PF9731 32'' with dvb-t embedded.
My question is how to record from a digital channel to my dvd recorder.

thanks in advance.

Surely this TV has a DVB-T out scart (RGB?) which you can then connect to the scart input on your DVDR? But of course you can only record what the TV is tuned to! Either:-

Get a seperate freeview box and connect that to the DVDR
or
Forget the DVDR and get an integrated DVB-T PVR or an integrated DVB-T DVDR

I second that. A PVR such as the Humax 9200T has dual digital tuners, so you can record 2 programs even if they overlap. You can also watch while it's recording. Setting a recording is as simple as viewing the EPG and clicking one button. It really can change the way you watch TV.

Keep your DVDR for the odd time you want to archive something of the box.

Phil
