My mother in law has just bought a tv with a digital receiver built in.

How do I set it up so I can record a digital channel on a vcr.

Currently there is no scart lead between the tv and vcr.

The arial is going into the vcr, the vcr is connected to the tv using the 'signal out' socket on the vcr.

I have connected a dvd player to the tv using a scart lead into the av1 port.

What's the best combination, bearing in mind she is 74, I have to understand your instructions and then pass them on.

    Thanks.

Well, it's always a good idea to give the make and model no of the TV when you have a problem.
Most decent IDTV's output the digital signals from one of the scart sockets which you connect to the AV in scart socket on a VCR or DVDR........study the TV user manual and see what it says or report back with the make/model no.
