    Hi,

I recently bought a Nebula DigiTV card but from what i can see the software wont let me edit the bitrate or resolution! I also cannot edit the MPEG-2 files it outputs in TMPGenc. Can anyone help me solve this or let me know of a good digital capturing software?

    Thanks,

    Darryl

The bitrate and resolution are set by the broadcaster.
You have to run the files through PVAstrumento before TMPGenc will load them.

Having read an earlier thread on this topic I know use TMPGenc with files processed with PVStrumento. However I find that PVA introduces lip-sync issues.

    Can these be corrected later?

    Thanks,

    Mark.

Mark have you tried extracting/seperating the audio first and then choosing the audio file when adding the video file?? it might help in resolving the lipsync issue...but i don't have a DTT card so can't really comment on that file type.

We're getting complicated now... Are you talking in PVAstrumento?

Or extracting the audio & video separately in TMPGenc?

I guess the best option would be to find a way to not introduce the lip-sync probs in the first place. Is PVAstumento the only cheap/fee solution to changing bitrates?

I'm new to all this and currently have to sit in my HT room to do the video editing so haven't had the chance to play with all the various tools on the market yet.

    Mark.
