Hi - does anyone know where I can get a flat plate digital room thermostat in brushed steel?
I'm very interested also if anyone has any ideas!
Did you get hold of one of these John (or anyone else)?
Just changed all the light switches in the house to brushed steel. Just need to now locate a suitable thermostat.
I'll post if I find one.
I found a company that make them John but they are not cheap. I haven't bought one as yet as I can't really justify the 70-80 quid plus VAT.
If you do get one let me know what you think of it.
Looked at the site, seems promising. Cant see any pics of a thermostat though.
Have you seen one?
I'm stupid enough to spend £80 if it's what I'm after.
Yes they definitely do one special order. There is a pic on their printed brochure and I got a price via City Electrical Factors. It looks very nice in the picture. My only concern is how the thermostat gets its air flow to read the temperature as what they do is use a unit that is intended to sit on the wall (as opposed to "in" the wall) and take off the plastic and make their own faceplate.
Came across this site, they sell "silver" (and gold and white) thermostats. Not quite what you asked for as they are coloured plastic.
Nice one! Not exactly what we were after, but a good compromise non the less. Best I've seen so far.
Might even go for one in the stylish silver plastic.
sorry to bring this back from the dead!
has anone had any luck finding a decent looking room thermostat??
I have a touchscreen heatmiser and its very easy to use the misses even likes it. Here it is next to my Futronix. Not flat flat but does the job
