Apart from the latest Sony does anybody know of another receiver with either digital optical or coax out to feed an AV amp and get Dolby Surround when broadcast on films by Sky? NOT Sky+ please. Has the panasonic TU-DSB-40 or 35 got this? There is no spec on Panasonic web site! Anyone know where the Panasonic specs can be found? Thanks...

I don't know what you've got against the Sky+. You can buy these secondhand now and by the time you sell on the quad LNB and the 40Gb disk you end up with a fairly cheap Digibox that offers 5.1 sourround (the only one to do this!) and s-video output that can be used at the same time as RGB. It works fine with a single LNB plugged into the "viewing" input.

Don't know to which Sony you refer ( as they are no longer supplied by $ly ).If you are looking to get 5.1 brodcasts without Sly+, then i don't think you will be able to. Some retailers still carry old stock of VTX-S750U (760) but they are expensive ( Comet are looking at £499 iirc  ).
