I'm considering getting my wife a nice looking digital radio for xmas. She spotted one in a shop and said it looked really nice but I didn't catch the model, it was silver. I fancy a Tivoli Analogue myself but if it has to be digital, can anyone suggest a Wife Friendly i.e. Aesthetic Design & Easy To Use model. Don't want to blow the bank... so about £100 if it's possible.

BTW - It has to be of the 'Portable' variety... just realised there are loads. Think along the lines of PURE and you'll get the drift. Thanks.

i have looking for a digital radio myself for xmas ,but i do find this forum lacking in intrest on the subject. i have been loking at .....

    http://www.simplyradios.com/forums/index.php?

i have been looking at the "bug"myself, only cos it looks a bit modern,i do find it funny that the new hi teck digital radios seem to be "boxed"in an old fashion looking radio!also i am finding it impossible to demo a radio for quality of the sound ,either the shop is in a shopping centre and no single or the shop is not able to receive a digital signal.although i wont expect a great sound because of the low bit rate of the transmitters

I don't have one myself but you might want to look at the XFM DAB radio?

£120ish but only from Currys and Dixons

Looks quite good, no idea what it sounds like...
