Anyone done it / thought about doing it?

Was just looking for some new art for the house and thought why not put up some of my own (!) - however having now looked at some of the prices for getting my prints put on canvas I may go back to checking ebay for some canvasses.

    Anyone found anywhere cheap?

I did it with some canvas that you can print on that i got from Dianes place (viking direc/office depot). The printer i used was rubbish, on a good one it would have been great. Was only A4 canvas, i think thats the only size. Could say uses ps to make a portrait look like a oil painting effect ect

You mean actual paintings/oil on canvas? I know a couple of decent places in manchester that create really affordable art. Plus i think the art council sets up interest free loans as they want more people to get in to art.

Well Iwas looking at that kind of stuff but thought - why pay an artist when I create some perfectly good "art" myself - just thought it would be different ot have it on canvas blocks..

something along the lines of this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=20118&item=7307056103&rd=1

. We paid £250 for an oil painting and we love it to bits (abstract) to be honest i'd rather have that anyday. I'd pay a lot more actually
