digital output

    If i connect my sky box to my av amp with an optical cable will i get all programmes sound through this or does it have to be broadcast in dd do i need to adjust settings on sky box sound settings to get sound, what im trying to say is can i listen to all shows through the optical lead to my av reciever or will it just pick up things broadcast in dd

    You will get all sound through it, but will only get dd on certain channels

    Don't forget to set the optical output to "Dolby Digital". Only Sky Movies 1, 2, and 3 and The Disney Channel currently use Dolby Digital.
