Digital-out output level on Kuro too low

Hey guys,

I got a problem with my Kuro LX5090H digital output. The sound level is just too low.
If I connect my devices (HD settop box and HD WD Live) directly to my home cinema (samsung ht-x30) through the digital output the sound level is normal.

The kuro's aux output is also normal, it's just the optical output level that's too low.
I would like to use the kuro's digital output because all my devices are connected to it with hdmi and my home-cinema set only has one optical input.

Is there anyway to adjust the optical output level ?

Thanks !

My Kuro 8G has no optical output signal when connecting devices via the HDMI sockets . I did read in the manual that there is no output when using a HDMI input signal.
I found that the output from the optical socket is when you use the internal Freeview .
I don't know about the 9G sorry .

The optical output is a mixed down 2 channel output so if you don't need dts or 5.1, then coming out of the TV should work.

If you want dts, 5.1 then you will need to either get an optical switching box (if there is such a thing) or upgrade your surround amp.
