Could someone advise please - i need to purchase a stereo system (not too expensive) with a digital optical connection so I can connect this to my Sky+HD box. I have searched high and low but cannot seem to solve my oroblem. Thanks.

There are a lot of options out there that will deliver a stereo audio feed from your Sky box. I believe that Marantz, for example, offer kit with both coax and optical inputs, as I recall, does Cambridge Audio (Richer Sounds). You just need to check the equipment specs. and make sure that the output from your Sky box is set to stereo rather than Dolby Digital.
