    Hi,

I have a sony amp that has coax and optical digital connections. My xbox is connected to the optical and the coax used to be dvd player but that function is now carried out by the xbox. Sky is connected to the amp using left/right connection. However :) I am dumping sky and have gone with a freeview box (sony du800x) that has optical sound out only. Is there anyway I can get a scart cable that will take the sound signal and "put" it onto cable that can go into the amp's l/r tv connection so I can still get sound out of the amp for tv. Or perhaps even better, some way of sharing the optical connection.

Thanks in advance and apologies for lame technical descriptions. AV is not my stong point :)

What you need is a scart to 3-phono cable (1 video output and 2 audio).
