    Hi,
I'm interested in upgrading my current AV setup and I notice that many components (DVD/STB/Plasma/Projectors etc) are now starting to have Digital Interfaces for Video except Receivers which has me baffled. I dont see the benefit of coverting to Analoge if you dont have to (eg DVD to Plasma) if both have compatible digital interfaces but I have a couple of questions:
    1) What/which digital interfaces are becoming the "standard" on consumer AV equipment? (DVI / Firewire / D-Sub / ?)
    2) Do these digital interfaces handle formats like 1080i/720p etc
    3) Are there any AV receivers that have digital Video inputs / outps / allow switching between sources etc

    Thanks
    Nathan
