Digital Dilema please offer some advise

Ive just about decided to get an intergrated Digital TV ( toshiba 28zt29).

I want the intergrated to save on space and having an extra unit to plug in. However i dont want to compromise quality if the built in tuners are not as good as the external ones.

Please can someone tell me if these intergrated tuners ar as good as external ones (sound and picture wise) and also will an intergrated tuner allow me to have the same amount of digital channels saved as a set top box. I belive there is over a hundred channel spaces on a set to box. I need that information for future proofing.

Thanks to anyone that can shed some light on this issue for me.

Usually you get a better picture with an IDTV

The digital tuner will perform just as good as a set top box if not better.

Im almost sure....in fact I am sure that the digital box is connected internally on Component video..

Hope this helps
