This is probably the wrong forum for this question but here goes...

I have a Sony DAV-DZ700FW wireless surround speaker system. The unit has a coaxial digital in and an optical digital in. I want to connect both the the digital audio out from my Sony Freeview box and the digital optical out from my PS2 to the surround unit.

How should I connect them? Which 'out' should go to which 'in'? Also, bearing in mind its only an audio signal, would it be wrong to buy the TOSlink optical splitter?

Does the Sony have COax digital output? If not you will need a splitter you have to use optical for the PS2

The Sony doesn't need an output, it is the amp.

So, optical from PS2 and coaxial digital from Freeview box. Yes?
