hi, I'm a new user, and I'm hoping for help. My 14 month old grandaughter was pressing buttons on the remote for our dvd player, and now it reads safe . I have been told I must put in a new code, I have no idea how to do this can someone help please. Roy.

Try this
With the unit switched on point remote at it and press and keep holding down the red power button until hopefully 'Safe' will disappear from display
