    Hi all,

I am in a the market to buy a PVR and it has come down to 2 choices so it seems. Either the Humax 8000T or the DigiFusion FRVT100.

I've read all there is to read about the Humax and it sounds like a cool piece of kit, but now that DigiFusion has brought out the twin tuner for under £200, this also sounds like a good deal.

Has anyone seen reviews or actually has a DigiFusion FRVT100 ? Are they any good when compared to the Humax ?

I know that the Pace Twin can be bought for under £200 but I'm not going to take the risk of my wife giving me an earful when the box keeps freezing up and missing episodes of Holby City.....I do want to live !

    Thanks all,

    Richie.

There is a new version of the 8000T due out soon with an 80gig hard drive and some OS enhancements. There is also going to be a new model from Fusion, an 80gig dual tuner version of the FVRT100.

    Dedicated thread over at DS.

Yeah, I saw the 80Gig 8000T but it's still the fact it's only got a single tuner. Think the Fusion might be winning ! What is the model code for the 80 Gig Fusion ? Is it the FVRT200 ?

    Cheers.

True, the 9000T (twin tuner) has been delayed far too long:(

Yep, the FVRT200 is the new model, website.
