I am looking at buying a Pioneer plasma PDP-433MXE in the near future and I am wondering which free to air boxes everyone is using to get the best results from their displays.

I don't want subscription channels, just the free stuff as I want the best BBC and ITV/C4 picture I can get to the panel. I intend using the plasma mostly for dvd really but I don't want to be disappointed with tv watching through it.

Can you give me makes and models of digi boxes...

    Thanks all

Any DTT box will do... they all output RGB, you will need an RGB >VGA Converter £120. I use the Nokia because of its digital PCM output.
You may however wish to wait until the new boxes with mpeg digital hard disc recorders on board. Some of these may have two tuners - watch one - record an other. There is always something better out tomorrow !
