Well... looks like i am going to have to dig a bit deeper...! I was originally going to buy a Panasonic PX60 and wall mount it in a specially built alcove in our lounge.... But having been to a few high street retailers i felt it didn't compare to a Pioneer436XDE... visually as well as PQ... Last night though went to a specialist retailer that designs and fits new systems... and looks like my original budget had now stretched from £2200(£1800 for PX60 + £400 for Denon home cinema) to £4500! After seeing how the Pioneer performed with high quality separates and cables plus the tiny Bose surround sound speaker i have been seduced! I was totally blown away by how good it was... That £4.5k price includes them 2 stage fitting everything. First fix of all wiring then coming back after the decorators and builders have finished to mount and calibrate everything... I know its costing more but i am that little bit more relaxed about it all now knowig that its all been specced and fitted by professionals.... (+ i saved about £3k on all tha carpets for the house! can always find an excuse!) What do you think guys - i know it sounds like a lot of cash but it should be a great set up!?!?
