Different speaker zones

It has zone 2 and zone 3 speaker outputs, so you would connect your main 5.1 system (plus DSX/Dolby IIz if used for front height and front wide) and then use the Surround Back for Zone 2 and Zone 3 speaker connections for two additional rooms (zones). You should be able to download the manual from the Euro Onkyo site (support). I would suggest you read it to make sure it does what you want.
