Do people have different settings for watching TV and DVD? Or do you use the same for all?

I have read about various settings for my Pioneer 506XDE.

In the screen's settings, I can select STANDARD, DYNAMIC, MOVIE & USER.

Clearly USER is where I make my own config.

Any advice/help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

    James

Yes , I use different settings for TV (standard) en DVD (cinema). You can change these setting, but not the Dynamic-set.

your sources will always output different levels of colour, contrast, brightness etc so you would normally expect to have different screen configs for each.

On the 506XDE, can you save different settings for all the different inputs?

I'nm sure it wouldn't let me change the standard when I tried? Maybe I was just being thick.

Would you be so kind as to give me some suggestions on settings as a starting point?

    Thanks

    James
