Difference between PT-AE300 and TH-AE300

    The scart input might be one difference (as the Japanese version doesn't have scart)

    Yes, the main difference is in the model letters PT and TH.

    Just kidding.

    I think the difference may be in the powersource. Japanese version accepts 100-240V while the other one only accepts certain voltage. It believe it was the same thing with the old AE100.

    The other difference is the scart-input as Julia has already pointed out.

    So the "TH" is indeed pointing at the fact that it's a Japanese version, and corresponding differences.
    OK. Now I will take the risk to order at PriceJapan.
