I know Die Hard 4 was pushed around Hollywood as an idea, but you'd need to check the Internet Movie Database for more reliable information. I'm pretty certain it hasn't started filming yet, and I don't think Mr Willis has signed any contracts to star in it, but then again.....

Let's hope he never does. Not that the movies already made are that bad, it's just that their in danger of joining that awful series of Death Wish films in to the depths of awfulness. The only consolation is at least I could choose not to watch them!

DIE HARD 4 was to be based around a book, which I actually went and read after reading, I think in EMPIRE that BRUCE was to make a fourth movie.

The book in question ( I think was called something like STANDOFF ) had the main character ( it was not JOHN McCLAIN ) having to rescue his daughter from a hut in the everglades after being told he had to go and kill someone or his daughter was killed. It read almost the SAME as COMMANDO and so is probably why the film was not made
