Could someone please tell me when the Die Hard Trilogy (R2) will be released?
If the R2 catastrophe of "Terminator 2: Special Edition" is anything to go by, I wouldn't hold your breath, as R2 users are still waiting for this title, 16 months on from its R1 release! Talk about painfully slow!
Get the R1 edition of the "Die Hard" trilogy instead! It's a fabulous set, and you'll get all the movies in totally uncut, 16:9 anamorphic widescreen prints, with both DTS and DD5.1 soundtracks, plus tons of extras for each of the 3 films, as all are given two discs per movie! The boxed-set retails at about £45, give or take a little! And that's the same as £15 per movie - for a double-DVD set! Cheap, or what?!
It won't be.
Die Hard 1 and 2 are Fox releases in R2 (UK version of one of these is also precut)
Die Hard 3 is a Buena Vista release (and is very cut in the UK).
So R2 may get Die Hard 1 and 2 at some point in the future.
You can get the R1 box set for under £40 from www.Play247.com, dont bother waiting for a R2 version.
Just this minute got mine
It is BRILLIANT quality packaging and looks worth every single penny of the 39.99 I paid for it, a real BARGAIN
