Did you manage to get the iPhone 4 on launch day?

This is a poll to see if you managed to get the new iPhone 4 on release day or not.

Besides the fact i am killing some time here before i myself go out and que up like a mad hatter at my local O2 store it will be interesting to see if there were any dissapointments or success stories / comparison.

So did you get one after your early queing at your chosen store or was it bad luck and do you have to wait?

I didn't, my Mother and Father (I would have gone if I could have woken up, I was exhausted. And I know, it's sad. I'm 22, I should have gone myself. What can I say? I can't drive!) went early though, around 7ish or 8ish and they couldn't get one at all.

One store got 30, another store got 22 and the store that did get 3 32GBs, the same store that told me nobody would be after one of those, sold out straight away.

I phoned O2, brought up buying out the contract and only having a Month to do so and they have apparently, though I'm not getting my hopes up, reserved me one with my local O2 store. Maybe they knew they had a sale, and didn't want to pass it up I don't know.

So I am hoping that soon, and hopefully not two or three weeks or a Month from now they get some more stock and I have a 32GB waiting for me.

Same here... got it delivered!! which is what majority of the people did.. in proportion to going into the shops!!!
