Did you know that .OMG files play in Windows Media Player?

    Erm, yeh!

    I just randomly opened an atrac3plus song in media player. I didn't expect it to work, but it came up with a box saying do I want to play the file, to which I clicked yes and it started playing!

    Cool, eh?!

    is omg the extension for atrac, i didnt know that. all the files on my hd3 are oma though, and im sure wmp cant play em.

    As long as you've got Sonicstage installed and 'partnered' to your OMG files, yes. WMP uses the Sony directsound engine to play back. The DRM checking is done by the same bits.
