    Hi all.

I'm the new guy that just got Sky.

part from some learning problems, plus bad connections and flaky electronics
in this field, I managed to get Sky up and running, and have been watching
    it all weekend.

Then I had to add a new mains-thing, to be able to add more units(don't know the english term(Mains-splitter??), and when I powered everything up
again, there was no satellite feed. I found that a strange coincidence, but
soon I went to the dish to get it aligned again. However , I can't find Astra2
again. I can find Astra1 with perfect results everytime, but no matter what,
Astra2 is just gone. I've tried 30-40 times now, with NO luck..and EACH time,
    I can get Astra1.

Which makes me belive that someone shot it down :)

I just don't get it. Perfect weather and no wind.

    Thanks,

    Nicholas

Are we to conclude from this that you are outside the UK ? The BBC channels on Astra 2 have had the footprints changed, so you need a bigger dish over much of Europe.

Right now?? It worked perfect the complete weekend, then right now it went out.

There's nothing, not even a slight reception of any kind, only full force from Astra-1.
I simply can't find the sat. I can hit Astra1 in a heartbeat, without even looking at the
screen, just by pointing the dish. I just moved everything to the other side of the
house which is even more elevated, and started from east, going south one notch at
a time. Nothing happened until Astra-1 showed up. I couldn't even find Hotbird.

    Yes, I'm from Copenhagen, Denmark.

    Thanks,

    Nicholas

Oh by the way, I assumed that Astra-1 was the 00001/ Transport Stream 041e in my Sky lock-on menu?? Like
    Astra-2 is 00002?

    Thanks,

    Nicholas

No, this happened some time ago (a year or more).
