Didn't it used to be called Digital Rear Projection TVs?

no, not crazy. I has been renamed, I think it was DLP Rear Projection TV's before. Due to a few suggestions by members, with all the CRT and LCD RPTV's available, one general forum to cover all seemed a better option.

How come I am the ONLY one to notice such a change. I just remembered it cause it used to be Sandwiched between Plasma and LCD... Not's It's between CRT and something else.

If you were that eagle eyed you'd have read the Sony thread and already know why.

There never used to be anywhere for CRT, LCD, LCOS, SXRD RPTV people to post, and nobody wanted them in any of the other forums. I think this makes sense.

It was changed after several suggestions, including one yesterday in a thread about the Sony. So I recommended to Admin to change it. Now we can cover all types of RearPro in one place - which makes it easier to do comparisons (eg betweeen Sony's LCDs and others' DLPs). Some of the imminent stuff from Sony shows great promise, so this may well be an interesting time.......
