Dialog Normalization

Dear all,

What exactly is dialogue normalisation and is it a user configurable setting for us to play with (in regards to my 3802).

I know it the manual it says its set to -4db. I know my M&K manuals recommend this being turned off. However, I can find no way to turn this off on a Denon-3802.

Have a read of this (Technical!) Dialogue Norm

Could play about with the channel levels but don´t bother.
