I've read mixed reviews on this units CD playback capabilities mainly that it excels in DVD playback but is a little lifeless for CD's.
Is this the general feel on here for these units or is that statement wrong?

I'm no audiophile but I can't fault the DHT500 as far as sound quality goes. Mine plays music from the built in radio, CD's and music from my server, streamed through the XBox.

Plays every recordable media I've thrown at it as well, including dual layer DVD+R! Top notch. :smashin:

Agree - No audiophile but sounds just fine to me, Jagged Little Pill CDR on just now and it sounds just fine.
